Blue Wolf

Don't make the wolf turn blue
That would never do
Don't make him hold his breath
And send him to his death
Don't make the wolf turn blue

I'm just a fat little piggy
Hangin round my house of straw
But there's a wolf after this piggy
And he's Huffin and puffin at my door

He says "I'll huff and I'll puff
And I'll blow your house down
Make you build a new place in a new part of town"
I said "not by the hair on my chinny chin chin -
I won't let you in"

But he Huffed and he puffed and he blew my house down
Straw flying all around
And He said "listen little piggy
Don't just sit there crying on the ground
When I'm biting at your heels
I will keep you on your toes
Make you make something new
Now Pig you better make make a move
Maybe get yourself some tongue and groove"

Now I'm just a fat little piggy
Hangin round my house of wood
There's a wolf who wants this little piggy
Lurking around up to no good
He says "I'll huff and I'll puff
And I'll blow your house down
Make you build a new place in a new part of town"
I said "not by the hair on my chinny chin chin -
I won't let you in"

But he Huffed and he puffed and he blew my house down
Splinters flying all around
And he said "listen little piggy
Don't just sit there crying on the ground

When I'm biting at your heels
I will keep you on your toes
Make you make something new
Now Pig you better take stock
Maybe get yourself some rock

Now I'm just a fat little piggy
Hangin round my house of stone
But I'm such a lonely little piggy
I don't do much now the wolf leaves me alone
When he was biting at my heels
He kept me on my toes
Now where is he?
Nobody knows
He just left when he got fed up
How I miss the huffy puffy little pup

So off I went with my stuff wrapped in a bundle
Tied to the end of a stick
Far and wide across the land this piggy trundled
And when at last I found the wolf, the wolf was sick

He said "I told you not to make me turn blue now
I told you that would never do
Don't make me hold my breath
And send me to my death
I told you don't make the wolf turn blue"

So I gave him half of my sandwich
And made him something to drink
I could see that he didn't need a bandage
But still he was wounded so I had a proper think

I said "you can come back round to my house of stone
I'll let you in and I will not moan
Maybe you can do some huffing and puffing
On my grandfather's old trombone?"

He huffed and he puffed and he brought the house down
Venues large and small, all over town
He said "thank you so much for giving me this chance
Now dance, Piggy, dance!"
